Rental agreement terms and conditions.
Plain-language summary of what you agree to when you rent with us. The signed rental contract at pickup is the binding document.
01Driver requirements
- Customers must have a valid driver's license with another form of ID. International customers: passport preferred. Locals: social security card preferred.
- Customers aged 23 or younger are considered under-age. Under-age renters must take company insurance, leave a double credit-card security deposit, and present two forms of ID.
02Payment & security deposit
- AMEX, Mastercard, Visa and cash are accepted for the rental.
- The security deposit must be made with a credit card only (no debit cards) and ranges from US$500 to US$1,000 depending on the vehicle.
- Declining collision insurance makes the customer 100% responsible for damage and requires a US$1,000 security deposit.
03Returns & fuel
- All vehicles must be returned at the time and location agreed on the rental contract, by the contract holder.
- Late returns are charged at US$15 per hour; after 3 hours a full day rate applies.
- Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as rented. Extra fuel is not refunded.
04Reservations
- Three-day minimum reservation. Special monthly rates are available on request.
- All prices are in US dollars. The 10% internet special requires coupon code I-Book at the time of booking.
